When this tool is useful
Sometimes a form, inspection report or signed document needs one more image. Recreating the PDF from scratch can change its page layout. A visual PDF editor lets you open the original, position an image on the appropriate page, review the result, and download a new copy.
Prepare the image and the document
Start with the existing PDF, not a blank page. Keep an untouched copy of the original so you can compare the finished document with it.
Use a clear JPG or PNG for the inserted picture. Crop unnecessary edges before placing it. For a photo of a receipt, ensure the text remains readable at the intended final size.
Add the photo in three steps
- Open WRKDOCS Add Photo to PDF and choose the PDF you need to update.
- Capture or select the photo, choose the correct PDF page and position the image within its margins.
- Review every affected page. Download the edited PDF and reopen it to confirm that the photo is correctly placed.
Common issues to check
An image that covers existing text can hide important information. Move or resize it instead of covering a field or signature. If your form must remain editable, check the output carefully because PDF editing tools may affect interactive elements.
Adding a picture is different from securely redacting information. A white rectangle or overlay does not guarantee that the underlying content has been removed.
These instructions describe the tools available on WRKDOCS. Always inspect the exported result before relying on it for important work.
